Privacy Policy

NivoraFit ("we", "us") is a workout and nutrition tracking app for iOS. This policy describes what we collect, why, and the choices you have. The short version: your data exists to power your own workout log and stats — we don't sell it, we don't show ads, and you can delete everything in one tap.

What we collect

• Account information. You sign in with Sign in with Apple. We receive an anonymous account identifier and, if you share it, your name. We never see your password, and you can hide your email from us using Apple's relay.
• Workout and nutrition data. The workout and food text you type or dictate, and the structured data derived from it: exercises, sets, weights, reps, durations, meals, estimated calories and macronutrients, dates, tags, and computed statistics such as personal records.
• Subscription status. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details; we only learn whether your subscription is active.

How your data is processed

• Storage. Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) in the United States, secured so that only your authenticated account can read or write it.
• AI processing. The individual workout and food lines you enter (for example, "bench 225x10" or "chicken salad and rice"), and questions you ask about your log, are sent to Google's Vertex AI (Gemini) to be converted into structured data or answered. Only the entered text and minimal context (your preferred unit, current exercise, or a compact summary of your own log) are sent — never your name or identifiers. These requests are not used by us to train models.
• Voice input. If you use the microphone, speech is transcribed on your device by Apple's speech recognition (which may use Apple's servers per your iOS settings). We receive only the resulting text, and only if you submit it.

What we don't do

• We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
• We do not show ads or use advertising trackers.
• We do not use your workout data for anything other than providing the app's features to you.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept for as long as you have an account. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete account in the app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible: it removes every workout, statistic, record, and your authentication account, and revokes the app's Sign in with Apple connection.

Children

NivoraFit is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will update this page and the effective date above.
